Bio

I grew up on a farm in Boring, Oregon. I was raised in old growth forests of the Pacific Northwest and came of age along the shores of the Sandy River. My life begins in the world of trees, mountains, clouds, and sky.

I am a photographer, writer, performer, and teacher. I position my camera to document people and systems - real and fictional - forging historical records. I have worked as a professional photographer in Portland for over 13 years and have photographed Jinkx Monsoon for Vogue Magazine. My work has shown at the Seattle Art Museum, PICA, Q-Center, and PNCA. I have received grants from the Ford Family Foundation, WESTAF Foundation, the Oregon Arts Commission, and RACC. I currently live in Portland where I work as an instructional coach for K-12 schools.

I am available for hire for headshots, events, photo booths, and writing assignments.
