High Tide: Portraits of Provincetown during the Pandemic
“High Tide: Portraits of Provincetown during the Pandemic” includes 41 portraits of folks I made while in Provincetown during the initial phases of the quarantine of 2020. It is a project documenting families, artists, and queers living in Provincetown during the Pandemic. It is a project about the reflection of clouds and trees and light against windows. It is a project about taking a dark time riddled with chaos and death and making beautiful portraits of people as they survive by staying inside. It is a project about the tenacity of human survival, even if it is merely standing inside behind a window or a door.
